Helps a lot with orientation and acess to subway / rail stations.
That app Support a lot our trip, with offline map and description of the point of interest.
This app is great!! The offlune map integrated with the gps allows for a very efficient traveller & walking!
Very useful and helpful because you can use when you are offline.
I just used it for a 5 day Paris trip to plan which sites to visit and it worked like a charm (iPhone 5c). Being able to mark places in different colors helped a great deal. What needs to be improved: - that little distance bar in the lower left corner. Its simply not correct. Ways are often longer than displayed. Varies around 10-30%! - And of course it does not show all coffee houses and restaurants available but a good amount. - somebusstops are missing. (E.g. Champs Elissee on the right side in South-East direction) - some points/sites could not be marked (e.g. Port de Alexander III, which is a biggie! The most beautiful bridge in Paris!) None the less this app is on a good way and was definitely useful. The Wikipedia infos about some sites were nice. With a few small updates and the pictures and ratings that already started to come in by other users this app can become a perfect tool very soon. :) Thanks.
I used it for exploring Paris on the bike (public bike "velib"). If you activate the apps location service it always displays your current location and direction on the detailed map. It turned out to be extremely helpful and makes it so easy to stroll around Paris.

Some bad moments

Good app but developers didnt announce that ads would make their way in the latest update. The search feature is now broken as well. I regret updating. This app used to be a paid app, its not acceptable to have integrated ads to it.
The Guide vehicles an enormous lot of information. (Though only in English, not in French.) Distances are indicated in kilometers (even from Moscow) to any Paris destination. The iPhone technological possibilities are well-used. Cross-references are a giant work in itself. And it is only a $1! I give you four stars for your painstaking labour. But. On the iPhone small screen, it is so boring and so tiresome to read even a so extremely elaborated manual of Paris, as yours.
I used these in Paris, Rome, Florence, and a couple other cities, but I was frustrated frequently. 1: none of the ads were of interest. 2: many of the street names were missing. 3: many of the places of interest were missing. 4: the maps were hard to resize and read. In retrospect, I should have just Google mapped my hotels and sights and then screen shot them. I ended up using pictures of maps from my guidebook and from free maps more often than I used the apps. Overall, better than nothing, but not as useful as planning ahead and doing it yourself.
I highly recommend this app. I was able to follow my trail all around Paris, without having to worry about wifi or using data. Ill download other cities as well.
